Marine Corps Aviation Simulator Masterplan
Nova technologies was subcontracted by Lockheed martin. Its focus was to create realist similations of a wide range of aircraft for air crew training. Some of these platforms were the F/A-18C/D Hornet, CH-46E Sea Knight, and CH-53E Super Stallion. The MCASMP solution consists of a series of Aircrew Procedures Trainers that will simulate environmental cues, as well as aircraft navigation and communication radios for the various aircraft platforms. These trainers can be operated in isolated, stand-alone mode for individual aircraft scenarios, or can be networked together for full strike/assault and support training.
ATARSNova Technologies has been a key subcontractor to Lockheed Martin for the past seven years providing software, systems, and hardware engineering support under the Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support (ATARS) contract. This support has consisted of support of daily operations as well as problem resolution and enhancements to several training devices including the MC-130H WST, MC-130E WST, AC-130U WST.Nova Technologies' engineering team has provided key support to maintain and upgrade the software and hardware on all twelve of the SOF training simulators at Hurlburt Field, FL and Kirtland AFB, NM
Nova Technologies did extensive work for the ADSTII Project under Lockheed Martin. The main focus of the project was updating the AC-130U simulator, as well as work on the mission trainers for the MH-60K, and the MH-473E
AC-130U NAV/FCO Testbed
Nova Technologies provided a team of seven software engineers and two systems engineers to support the development and test of the AC-130U NAV/FCO Testbed under a subcontract from Lockheed Martin Information Systems. We were responsible for the design and implementation of five of the major subsystems. We also directed the final integration and test of the system prior to successful installation at the customer’s site
AC-130U Aircrew Training Device
Nova Technologies is providing a team of software and systems engineers to support Lockheed Martin's development of the AC-130U ATD program. We are involved in the development of the requirements for aircrew training, host computer systems architecture, and the external simulation environment, including the visual displays. Work on the requirement portion of this task is scheduled to continue through March 1999 when actual implementation should begin.
MC-130E Weapon System Trainer / MC-130H Mission Rehearsal Device
Nova Technologies is providing a team of software engineers to support the design, installation, and test of an upgrade to the MC-130E WST and MC-130H MRD simulators at Hurlburt Field, FL. Under a subcontract from Lockheed Martin Services Company, we are implementing a Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) compatible interface for the MC-130E and MC-130H. This interface allows multiple DIS simulators to operate interactively during training and mission rehearsal activities.
