On January 31, 2019, NOVA Technologies, along with its partner Pinnacle Solutions, Inc., was awarded the Special Operations Forces Training, Engineering, and Maintenance (SOF TEAMS) contract for the third time. NOVA Technologies' Founder and President James "Buddy" Black said, "Winning a recompete is challenging; winning a second recompete is clear evidence of superior performance and mission effectiveness.". SOF TEAMS is an onsite simulator maintenance and support program for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) [SOAR(A)] based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The SOF TEAMS IIl contract allows NOVA Technologies to showcase its experience and knowledge by supporting critical training resources for the 160th SOAR(A).
